- To be a jewel of all botanical gardens – a place of peace and beauty for all to enjoy while also acting as a repository for rare and endangered plant species from around the world.
- To entertain and educate residents and visitors of all ages about the natural beauty of Hawaii by offering a variety of activities that allow them to have a fun but safe experience while preserving the integrity of the tropical environment.

Giving Back
Our efforts are shown through local action to support charites that care for our neighbors. Here a few things we do:
- Food drives through free or reduced price events
- Ministry at Kamaee Falls - Easter Sunrise Services
- Free passes for local charities and national charities like Salvation Army
- Ohana days of free admission to kama'aina
